Waves of DiscoveryExtending across a facade on the corner of First Avenue and Main Street, this piece was inspired by the artists love for her hometown Pernham, situated in the heart of the Minnesota lakes area. It was created with a medium of carved concrete with elements of agates, fossils, fused glass and mosaics. Its design is to encourage interaction and communications among its viewers, both young and old, with over 50 items to seek and find.

Bas Relief ArtBas Relief is creating low relief in a sculpture, carving or molding. I use both low and high relief in my art. I find bas relief not only captivating but my love of textures is brought to life and I often see viewers immediately want to touch the art or sculpture I have created therefor I instantly having a connection with the viewer of my art. I work in both plaster and concrete to create my bas relief pieces and use color for added interest and beauty.

Off to the RacesThis art installation in Perham,MN was completed in 2018 with the help of the Perham community who, along with volunteers from around the nation, painted all 210 concrete turtles in the installation. The beautification of the formerly drab space was true collaborative effort that displays the ways in which art can bring people young and old together. Turtle races are held at this park every Wednesday during the summer months and is an event worth attending if you are in the area!
